How refreshing to find a traditional butchers offering quality fayre.

It was the walk to find it as we were on mission to buy some homemade sausage rolls after James Martin said they were "the best sausage rolls in the whole world". He wasn't wrong, as they are superb, big, stuffed with meat and full of flavour, also at a great price.

All the produce on sale was clearly quality and so much better than the supermarket rubbish that we have to endure a lot of the time. Customer service is so friendly and welcoming. We'll certainly be going back on our next visit to the island.

Having just moved to the island….we were looking for a butcher, and found you….we were served by a lovely young man, who was very welcoming and helpful, we asked about calves liver, and he said no problem he would have some in the week, just to ring to make sure it was in, he also explained that we could order online and that they could deliver. We bought some fabulous pork chops, which we had for dinner this evening…and they were delicious. We will definitely be buying all out meat from you. Just popped into you guys as I’ve heard all about you sausage rolls! Fantastic service by a young lad who was very chatty and personable. Display of meat looked good too, not a lot there but what was on offer I could tell was quality. I own a butcher shop myself on mainland and I will be sure to tell all my customers that may visit the island to go and visit yourselves. Sausage roll for me was a little dense in texture but flavour was brilliant. All round top marks from me and good luck in the new year, I’ll be in again next time...
