The Harbour View Cafe — Restaurant in England

Love Harbour View, a lovely little gem with delicious food, super friendly staff and a wonderful view of the Bembridge Harbour. Dogs are very welcome!

Breakfasts are always top notch, especially the traditional and the pancake stack (not to be missed). Get in early or book a table during the summer, there is indoor and outdoor seating. The lunch menu looks amazing, but we haven't tried it yet. The local rooks are very entertaining and the view of the Harbor is beautiful no matter what the tide. As a local, what a disappointment. Over 1hr 20 wait for breakfast in a half empty cafe. Not telling customers that there dozens of phone orders ahead of you when you order is a recipe for many dissatisfied people. Especially when followed by repeated lying about your wait time. Boss bullying teenage staff and shouting at customers. If you can't bulk cook sausages and eggs, maybe don't work as a breakfast chef. Food eventually turned up 40 mins after we were the "next ticket". Perfectly fine but not worth the wait...

Stopped here for a coffee whilst passing, we were just visiting the area, unfortunately we were not made very welcome, got told we should have booked a table as it gets busy, but how would we have known that? Found they had no decent coffee as the machine was broken and felt they only wanted people who wanted to eat a meal, we were then told where we could sit!! Very unwelcoming place indeed wouldn't suggest stopping here if you don't want a meal, would certainly not...
