Absolutely horrible.

Just stopped in for a single portion of chips and mushy peas to go with something already cooked at home.

Not a single other person in there.

The chips had been hot boxed and were dry and hard.

The mushy peas were an abomination. They were a dark grey green colour and sloppy, but the worst aspect was that they tasted sweet.

I'm not talking about a hint of sweetness, they were as sweet as taking a mouthful of coke or similar. I had to spit them out as they were just so vile and bin them.

I'd say over half the chips went in the bin.

Not cheaper either, over four pounds for chips...

Portion sizes are pathetic! The only chippy I know that doesn't sell traditional curry sauce. Nearest chippy is 10 min walk away and is seriously twice as nice. As for prices going up..... I didn't know we bought our sunflower oil from Russia! Chip butty with half portion in £3.30 full portion of chips and a t cake £3.30. I could go on but I've got to work over tonight to claw it back Allt best Just hope they don't get a load of their mates/family to write reviews saying the exact opposite of what I said....

I find it hard to believe that there's a better Fish & Chip shop around here. Honestly one of the best I've ever had, if not THE best. Great portion sizes, freshly cooked, bargain deals. Also the curry sauce and mushy peas are 10/10 as well. This place is class. They're on Uber...
