went here today for one item and the guy in front of me wanted a cooked chicken ,, watched in total shock horror as the man who took the customers money told the other man who was cutting the RAW Chicken to get the customer the cooked chicken out of the oven, they really went as far as opening the cooking oven door while me and the customer wanting the chicken where standing in horror saying NOOOO NOOO NOOO,,,, , even the guy who took the money who acts like he is some kind of manager of the store see nothing wrong with the fact he had just sent the raw chicken cutter to fetch a cooked chicken out of the oven and it was all being done with no hand washing nothing, ,, it was totally natural to them ,, im sorry but this place really needs shutting down clearly they have absolutely no idea about food safety at all,, what i see was a total joke and we was made to feel like we where the ones who had an issue with what they had done was wrong, he tried after to get the man he had sent to get the cooked chicken wash his hands but to little to late as was only doing for effect as we had been a gasp at the slackness of the error made, and the man had already opened the oven door handle the pan to place the chicken on and the tongs to pick it up with, and All with his RAW Chicken contaminated hands,,, Southwark seriously needs to take its health and safety seriously this was beyond a joke and how such simple standards can be so slack tells you alot about how these places...

The shop is located just off very busy Oldkent road near Tesco. Parking spaces are available along Oldkent road 10am-4pm and 2 spaces around the back of the shop almost any time.

🙂Staff is friendly and speak fairly good English. Due to Islamic nature the shop may be closed midday 1pm-2pm due to Friday prayer and during Ramadan it gets very busy and you might prefer to do shopping earlier in the...
