Edit 16/02/22 - Unfortunately, it is as I feared. Gone are the young enthusiastic staff replaced with old men with moustache's and more importantly the quality of their patties have declined significantly... all in the name of cost cutting. I'm sad to say I cannot recommend this place anymore, unless you have a thing for moustache's of course.
Original opening review:
This place opened yesterday and my little brother was very excited to give it a go. I had the triple cheeseburger and the crispy chicken burger.
I was actually quite surprised by the quality of the burgers. The patties in the cheeseburger were very juicy, packed full of flavour and seasoned well. The buns were nice and soft and of good quality.
The breaded chicken breast in the crispy chicken burger was certainly crispy, thick and had a nice bite to it. The Algerian sauce compliments it well and it has a nice kick to it which really finishes off the burger nicely.
I look forward to trying out the other items on their menu, but more than anything I hope that they keep up these standards and do not start making significant changes to their menu a few months down the line like many of the other decent burger joints have started...
Read moreI hadn't noticed there was a change of ownership until I had arrived at the shop. It's be rebranded but they still list themselves as my burger on delivery platforms.
They told me that they still do the My Burger menu they've just changed owners and added more to the menu, so I thought I'd order.
Hygiene is poor, I've seen the guy prepare with no gloves and casually touching different surfaces (not to mention scratch his face). Secondly the food is precooked and left in the fridge. Lastly it tasted awful, to the point I threw the food away after 2 bites. They use cheap chicken strips from the pound shop and charge premium pricing for a burger that doesn't meet the expected quality. Just to point out they had hardly any of the burger/wraps available expect for the chicken options.
This place isn't what it was during COVID up until 2022. Not worth your time and money. If you want a halal McDonald's style meal, just go to Hungry Cow in East London which is worth the 20 min drive.
I wouldn't recommend or return to this...
Read moreAlso trades as Mac Halal Burger. Ordered through Ubereats. Food came quick but as soon as I unpacked the food I knew something was wrong.
I ordered two Double flame burgers which consists of the usual sauces and diced onions and pickles. Bit what was missing was a pattie and the turkey rasher. For an £8.50 meal I essentially received a large double cheeseburger meal. The Chip scoop was bigger than the burger!
Furthermore my brother found hair in his fries. As if someone just had a haircut at the barbers and didn't have a shower and went straight to work.
I called up and spoke to a member of the team. Firstly he didn't know the menu and then had the audacity to tell me to order again. What? And pay again? Sorry fella you must take me for a mug.
I was a usual at My Burger. But having received such a poor service I'll be taking my hard earned cash elsewhere!
I would not recommend...
