Neighbourhood local park leading onto East Street pedestrian market is reasonably well maintained with an attractive wild flower meadow located on a “vantage”mound with an “instillation” as focus point. Landscaping mostly dated and perhaps in need of improvement with playgrounds and mature trees. All the makings in place here for a premium amenity. On the day of my visit a fractious undertone lingered in the air. Perhaps my imagination took hold. I don’t think so.

Excellent green space with beautiful mature trees. Plenty of seating and peaceful even in the middle of the day. Lots of shade on a sunny day. Large areas given over to wildflowers. If I worked nearby, this would be my dry day lunch place. Somewhat spoilt by litter, but that's down to the people using the park. People should take responsibility and take it home. A good resting place if you're walking through the area.

A really lovely little park. I train here and have recently started practicing flying here too. It's picturesque and the grass and plants are maintained well. Sadly it can be the victim of littering and the occasional irresponsible dog owner not picking up after themselves, but it seems to be cleaned daily, so isn't left fouled for long. The dog owners and pedestrians seem to be all friendly.

This is a really sweet little park and offers a combination of large and small kids playgrounds. Right beside East Street market, I can't believe I've never found it before. We took advantage of the space to meet up with my adult children's dad and his new family after three odd years of not being able to meet up for one reason or another. We had two sunny halcyon days to picnic and chat and catch up, it gave us the chance to have some amazing quality family time!! What a treasure of a park. And best of all, very close by to a small café at The Box Company on the edge of the park, where we got the most delicious smoothies and ham and cheese toasties that...
