Have been getting takeaways from this restaurant for many years and very disappointed to note that the last few times I have tried to place a takeaway order they have told me there is a 60-90mins wait as they ate very busy?? Surely if you are running a business you are responsible for making sure both aspects of the business both eat in and takeaway are properly managed and resourced?? Otherwise why are you in business. Note previous regular customers have complained about long wait times and poor quality of food. This is very sad to hear given how long this establishment has been trading and my advice would be to either improve your service for takeaways or simply stay as an eat in only business. Nobody is going to wait 60-90 mins for their food order specially when this is so much choice and as for having comments about poor customer service and being rude to customers, that is simply unacceptable in any business. Customer is king and if you cannot run your business with that ethos then you should not be in business. I will definitely be going elsewhere for my Chinese as there are plenty of places offering good food and good service. Sad but the truth. If you want to keep your customers Chu Chin Chow I would strongly recommend you improve your service whatever day it is and not turn customers away by giving them 60-90mins wait time. That is the way...

We came to try the lunch time special. The lunch time special is £10.50 and I think you get 2 courses and tea included in the price. On the menu they add an extra £1 i now realise that is for the blue starred items on the menu where you have prawns and more expensive ingredients. They also showed ice cream, at the bottom of the menu so not sure if that was included but we so full after the 2 course we didn't enquire about the ice cream. We ordered a soup and fried prawns to start. I was impressed with the prawns they were tasty and came with a sweet and sour sauce. The hot and sour soup was good and had prawns and chicken and quite a few ingredients in it. For mains we ordered a laksa and some mixed meat crispy noodle. I was impressed with the ingredients and the quality of the dish. The waitress was lovely and friendly. She gave gave us extra plates and bowls so we could share our mains. She also topped up the tea with hot water when we finished the first pot. We will definitely do the lunch time special again, the waitress said it's available on the Saturday too so will come back on the weekend I'm sure. There was also a free car park close by, which made it easy go get to the...

We ordered a delivery last night, apart from one item all the food was inedible. The dumplings were rubbery and cold. The chicken satay was hard chewy and tasteless. The crispy lamb was incinerated, there was no meat just scrapings of dead skin. The lettuce had a fly on it. When I called to complain I was exposed to a barrage of abuse, insinuating I was lying and received an aggressive, patronising attitude.. The woman I spoke to told me very patronisingly that they had not had any complaints about their food(!!!) and sarcastically said she was sorry that the food delivered did not meet my high standards. Please do not order a delivery from here, you probably (without prejudice) be very disappointed and receive an unprofessional and vicious response. I have noted they do not respond to negative reviews and achieve a solution, really...

The restaurant serves food that is very close to the authentic flavors of Hong Kong and truly captures the essence of traditional Cantonese cuisine. I ordered a variety of dishes, every dish was expertly prepared, with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. . I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Hong Kong-style cuisine in the UK. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I will definitely be back for more in the future.

Went to this Chinese restaurant for the first time and thought the service, food and ambience was excellent. They also do traditional chinese food like taro duck which is was quite surprising. We have frequented quite a few chinese restaurants around the area and this one by far will be a favourite. They offer a buffet menu which is cooked fresh and under £20 a person and a a la carte for some authentic chinese food. We did not take any photos apart from dessert ( brought back many fond memories!)
