Unfortunately I won't be coming here again because of the service and price. I went there today for a flat white to have in. I paid £3.50. There wasn't a crowd. People who ordered before me and after got served their food and drinks before I was given my flat white. It was a considerable wait. At that point, I was almost about to leave without my drink. The coffee itself wasn't anything special so it didn't justify the price. I'm happy folks are enjoying this spot. Looked to be very favourite for folks on a Sunday with children, which is great. But if you're looking for a good cup of coffee, fairly priced, and handed to you with reasonable time, my experience would say this isn't the right place for it. At least not on a Sunday 11am.

Nice place to stop for a coffee and a snack. I had a nice espresso and a pastel de nata. Espresso was lovely; well made with decent beans. The pastel de nata was small, which I appreciated as I didn't want a high calorie snack. It wasn't too sweet and the pastry was very nice. It is a nice, quiet shop. Avoid the nearby Costa, which has weak and nasty coffee, in my opinion.😊

Old Bank Coffee House is a nice coffee shop with relaxed and family friendly vibes. The two ladies working there are delightful, diligent and hospitable. Matcha latte was divine. Almond croissant was also delicious. Without doubt I will keep coming back. If anyone is reading this, I highly recommend you go visit Old Bank Coffee House for a drink as well.

The staff were unnecessarily abrupt and dismissive. I asked for a frappe without milk, and instead of simply acknowledging the request, I was told it doesn’t exist - this is simply untrue. As someone Greek, I’ve had frappes without milk countless times in both Greece and Cyprus. It absolutely does exist. Please do your research.

Furthermore, advertising your drink as a "Cypriot Frappe" is misleading if you’re not using instant coffee. A traditional frappe is made with instant coffee - using beans fundamentally changes the drink. If you're not following the traditional method, it should not be marketed as such.

I’ve seen responses to other reviews saying things like, “I’m disappointed to see you post your views in a public Google review rather than addressing them directly.” But let me be clear, the entire purpose of a Google review is to share an honest account of one’s experience, and mine was not pleasant at all. The way staff interact with customers, both in person and in the comments section, speaks for itself.

I suggest doing proper research into what a traditional frappe is before claiming...

I take my child to a toddler group, busy bricks, held at the back of the coffee shop in the old vault every Tuesday. The facilities are exceptional well maintained. The loo's are very, very clean. With lots of space and equipment for baby changing. The play area for the children is also very well maintained with a very good selection of toys, books and montessori activities. We generally stay after the busy bricks class for a coffee, crossaint (which are both delicious and fresh) and juice for my child. All the foods indicate any allergy ingredients on the price list in the display cabinets and they carry a comprehensive range of "free from" foods. The staff are welcoming and attentive. And the coffee shop is welcoming to a range of customers. From care givers and babies, those working and looking for a quiet corner to those customers who are there to enjoy the coffee and atmosphere. We really enjoy our weekly visits and look forward...

AMAZING COFFEE, PASTRIES & 💙AMBIENCE🎵

It's hard to imagine Old Bank Coffee House opened it's doors only a month ago. Upon my first visit, I noticed immediately how wonderful the service was. Staff are friendly and welcoming!

Something I find incredibly unique about this place that'll have me returning regularly; the 'blend of the day' filter coffee. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the variety of day to day blends. This particular blend was the best I've had in a long time (I arrived on a Thursday, if that helps 🤷)

THE PASTRIES... The first thing you'll see when you head through the door, the pastries and cakes. I chose an almond croissant after asking for the staff's preference. It didn't disappoint! SO good.

There's also a children's play area in the back room!

Great music, great coffee, great service.

It's safe to say I'll be walking straight past Costa and Pret without a second glance...
