Hampstead Cemetery — Local services in London

Filthy unkept cemetery left to ruin . Smashed over grave stones , loads of overgrown shrubs growing over some of the most historic graves making it impossible to pay any respect. I have five family members laid to rest here . On three occasions I’ve had to clear dog mess from the grave surrounds. I think Hampstead Cemetery is the only cemetery in London that lets Dogs in to mess where they please . The signage is ignored & the security turn a blind eye. My aunt almost walked into a dog mess on the actual pathway a few days ago. The great hidden gem of North London..Just so magical and tranquil..A huge cemetery with many paths and benches to rest awhile..Sadly Camden and Islington councils neglete the graves until they are beyond repair.A gorgeous place to visit..No burial map online,just a tiny rudimentary drawing at the entrance.Difficult to locate...

Please can you tell me why Hampstead Cemetery is closed to cars? I went up there specifically to tend to my parents grave & it seems only open to joggers & dog walkers! A couple of weeks ago it was fine....
