Coffee and food is good but customer service is another story altogether. The usual ppl who serve coffee are nice but recently one of the employees displayed such rudeness which I can only perceive as discriminatory behaviour. I went there with my dogs and was waiting for my coffee to be made. A caucasian woman with a buggy and kid walks in and the person at the till asks me to leave the shop (they seem to know each other). There was enough space in the shop for the dogs and kids but she just looked at and me told me to wait outside with my dogs on the street. To top that, after my coffee was made she took forever to bring my coffee outside as she was first on the phone and then cracking a joke with the woman while serving her coffee (over my coffee). When she came out finally with my coffee I asked why she asked me to wait outside given that i came first and was already standing there, she said there was a space crunch (which is a lie). When i was leaving this employee started talking to the woman and started laughing and making fun (likely about me as both were looking at me as I walked away). Absolutely...
Read moreHave An Havo is a unique café, in the sense that all the products are freshly prepared in the kitchen with special attention to the ingredients, many of which are aimed at athletes indeed, right across the street is The Gym Group. The croissants and cakes are excellent. The cappuccino was truly very good, with excellent coffee blends (I’m Italian and I know a thing or two about coffee) I had a Super Smoothie a Mangolada (Mango, Passion fruit, Lime, and Coconut Milk)—and Ewa (my sister) had Doctor’s Orders (Beetroot, Carrot, Ginger, Lemon). Simply spectacular and tasty, really perfect for athletes just coming out of the gym. The atmosphere is very relaxing, suitable for studying or spending time with friends and family. The staff is absolutely very kind and helpful; Sham is truly a special person with a real passion for his work. There are plenty of freshly prepared vegetarian dishes. The restroom is very clean, with a baby changing station and accessible entrance for those who use a wheelchair. Highly...
Read moreThere are many coffee shops near-ish, but this one is the best.
It's the best for two reasons, firstly, the coffee is most enjoyable.
Secondly, the staff are legends, particularly Magda & Maria whose customer service is sensational.
Whilst I can't name drop the whole team (soz guyz, you know who you are), they all come together regardless of how dishevelled I look to deliver cracking coffee, sensational cookies and service with a smile.
Sometimes, when I am feeling healthy, I indulge in their fantastic selection of protein goods, but seriously, have the cookies.
I will caveat my review of Have an Avo with the fact that I have not eaten an Avocado here before, though their food does look delicious. If you are concerned about having to eat an Avocado, fear not, it's not...
