I would like to express my gratitude to the TfL member of staff of the name Raman that was on shift on the 3rd of Feb 7:30am at High Street Kensington. For unknown reason my bank card didn’t work that morning and I was in a difficulties to get to work as being an essential worker, as I didn’t have any other bank card with me nor owning an Oyster card for few years now, the member of TfL staff noticed that I was having difficulties with paying the fare, he approached me and tried the best to help me , I showed him that I have money in my account as I opened my online banking app,I also showed him my MoJ badge , then I told him that I’m using this route every morning and I don’t know what is the reason for my card does not work, he then proceeded to speak with his supervisor explaining him the situation, the supervisor wasn’t happy to help but he did it in the end. Nearly no trains to Olympia , so turn right out of the station and get a bus 9, 23 or 27 , or 49 or 28 to Olympia. Good Leonidas chocolate shop in the station arcade. Go to The Design Museum, and Cafe de Fred for gluten free delicious galettes ( pancakes ) . Holland Park , and Kensington Gardens / Kensington Palace nearby.
