Kids city — Local services in London

We love Kids' City! At first, we chose it for convenience. As first time school parents, we were overwhelmed with the logistics of wrap-around childcare and Kids' City was a very straightforward option. It was on-site, very affordable and opened at 7:45 which would allow us to commute to the office in time. What I did worry about though was, was it too big and impersonal for my shy, timid, little, four year old? Would she be better suited to a small environment with younger, pre-school kids? Not a chance! She has a ball there and I love that it gives her a safe opportunity to mix with older primary children outside of school. The staff are fantastic. Yes, my daughter was upset when she first joined this strange new place but, with help from the kind and welcoming staff, she was well settled in just a week. Before we joined, we'd heard through word-of-mouth how great the manager Ms Irene is and now I find myself passing the same message on to other prospective parents! My shy, timid, little, (now) five year old races to kidcity every morning and talks about it more at the end of the day than she talks about her time in the classroom! What can I say about this wonderful after school club. Last year I changed my children’s schools, my children are 9 and 4. Their previous school had an after school club and as a working mother, working for the NHS as you can imagine this was my biggest fear. Well I needn’t be worried! Open space, plenty of games indoors and outdoors. Fruits and healthy foods.

My children are the happiest they could be. Ms Irene we love you! You go above and beyond and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

I have complete peace of mind knowing my children are safe, not only safe but happy and genuinely well looked after.

Having two children requiring the service and being able to secure spaces honestly is the greatest feeling as a mother! I would to say a HUGE thank you to kids city for looking after my children.

Before kids city my son never ate any fruits what so ever, thanks to the brilliant team he now eats his apples daily which may not seem like much to most, but 4 years as a mother I tried to no avail!

My LO is 4 years old and she enjoys going to Kid City after nursery at Woodmansterne.

The Kid City team pick her up at 3.15pm and she spends her time outdoor playing with her friends in the school grounds or in the field whenever the weather permit. And she can also be seen playing or drawing indoors when I go pick her up. LO happy to go.

Half term club was nice too with daily activities including sport and cooking. LO enjoyed the few days.
