This place used to be great, unfortunately it’s been very hit and miss recently, and mostly miss. First they were out of chicken for the sandwich I wanted, so I ordered a BLT, then the server didn’t know Tomatoes went into a BLT. Once I got home the sandwich had no Mayo, and only one single piece of streaky bacon. Unbelievably bad for £6 The drop off on quality from the previous owners is a real shame. I can only say the coffee was nice. Please sort it out with some proper training!!

An mazing place! It has all - good vibes, service, food and the best coffee we had in London. I am a vegetarian and the house chef was very kind to made his dishes to my diet (it was super tasty). Highly recommended.

Really good food, good coffee, good owner, nice staff. Very good value for your money without the pretentious hipster feel you get with some other places in Brixton. Such a gem to have a minute walk from your house.

Unbelievably rude service! Shame as I used to love this place. Won't be going back.

I'm amending this review as you've asked what the issue was. So, here goes... I asked if you could make the iced coffee sweet, to which you snapped back at me "IT WILL BE SWEET, you haven't even tasted it yet!". I then ordered a ham and cheese croissant which was displayed on a covered glass plate on the counter. When I was served the tiniest croissant known to mankind, I expressed my surprise as I was expecting a regular size croissant (I hadn't seen the small one hidden behind the regular one on the display). You responded abrasively by saying "but you saw them!". You probably thought I hadn't noticed you tut and shake your head as you walked away, but I did.

I have to say, the guy working in the kitchen was incredibly friendly, but you my friend are very rude! You made us feel very uncomfortable and I couldn't leave your establishment...

Lovely staff but the plates are SO difficult to eat from. Just use normal plates. The toast was rock hard and the butter was a rock hard lump. Tried to butter and the toast snapped and the lump of butter flew away. The egg was hard and overcooked and cold. The spinach was crunchy with grit in it. The hash brown didnt taste of anything. The breakfast menu is weird. Just keep it simple I dont think hummus goes with breakfast. It's a shame. I will go back again because it's nice in there and it might improve. Please get...

The drop off on quality from the previous owners is a real shame.

I can only say the coffee was nice.

Please sort it out with some...
