Iāve been coming to Root for almost a year now, I visit every time Iām back in London and itās consistently the best haircut + styling Iāve ever had. Root is an absolute gem!! Iāve had short hair for 10 years and itās always the same problem (1) I look like lord Farquhard from Shrek or (2) doesnāt grow out nicely. After seeing Harry I always get compliments about my hair cut, I feel like a million bucks leaving the salon, and Iām happy for it to grow out as the structure is maintained well. I also feel very welcomed and comfortable at the salon. They use amazing products, and take really good care. Also itās a stylist-owned business which as a customer Iām so much more happy to support. The vibes are immaculate. I travel all over the US and Asia and save my haircut for when Iām back in London - Iāve spent hours searching for salons in other cities but I canāt find any place thatās gonna be the vibes and value that Root is. Stefano, the owner and master hairstylist, recommended the best treatment, colour and hairstyle for my hair, and I was really impressed with the final result - especially with the colour! In fact I had done blonde highlights few months earlier at another haidresser, that had turned āyellowishā - Stefano toned down the blonde colour, and made the colour look more natural. They also sell very good organic hair product, and they gave me some samples to try. The place itself is very cool, and the team is nice and friendly. They informed me that I needed to cancel my appointment within 48 hours, but their closure for one day makes it impossible to get a refund for Wednesday. I called 48 hours in advance, but no one answered. Eventually, I emailed them to ensure they received my cancellation, but now they are saying that because the email was not sent 48 hours prior, I am not eligible for a refund.
