I visited the Distillery with my fellow Steampunks from Great Kentspectations on 5th February 2022. We ALL had such a fantastic time! It was fascinating to learn the history of Maidstone Gin and how the spirits are made and produced on site in the Distillery. All the staff were lovely, welcoming and beyond helpful during the tour AND all the prior emails and calls to make the 21 person booking. Plus the Gin and Drinks were DELICOUS! Brilliant Value for money and a must for Gin lovers! On a personal note as a wheelchair user the facilities were brilliant. The entire tour is wheelchair accessible and easy to navigate plus the accessible toilet onsite was a prime example of how every accessible toilet should look like and function whereas SO many other venues claim to have such facilities but don't actually deliver. Thank you so so much to Sam, Amanda and everyone at the Distillery who made our...

We went to the Maidstone Gin Distillery a few weekends ago for our friend's 40th.

I personally have mainly been on beer and whisky tours, so it was great to hear the history of gin and Maidstone (another part of Kent to where we are all from).

We had two ladies who looked after us for the session. I can't remember the first ladies name but she was very helpful but Naomi did the 2nd part of our tour.

Due to it only being our group for this tour, we got a private session, which was great and unexpected.

This was a really nice addition to our friend's day of entertainment, as we got to spend quality time all together, as well as the chance to try a new gin (which is never a bad thing).

I really enjoyed this tour as it felt personal and fun, which isn't always the casen so I highly reccommend it. You also get to have a few tasters and a big glass of gin with your tour, which is pretty...

I booked up the Distillery Tour and Tasting Experience for 10 friends recently. The cozy bar area was really buzzing when we arrived. We were all impressed with the sophisticated and stylish tasting room and the enthusiasm of Bren, our knowledgeable tour guide. The gin tasting was well done with everyone, even the non-gin drinking members of our group, getting involved with sampling the smells and tastes of the many special ingredients that go into making and distilling gin. The evening was very informative and by incorporating the history of gin and it's connection to Maidstone it made the talk really enjoyable. I must thank Lucie for suggesting the Maidstone Distillery to me and I heartily recommend purchasing the Sharp's Toffee Liqueur, delicious! I can recommend the delicious Mojito that we tried and don't leave without purchasing the fabulous Sharp's Toffee...

Although we have lived in Maidstone for over 5 years now, it took us a trip to the Bluewater Mall - “Produced in Kent” store to find out there is a Gin Distillery in Maidstone. The moment we found out, we booked a tour. We had a great experience. Amanda and Naomi talked us through the history of Gin Distillation in Maidstone and the history of the Maidstone Market Building where the Distillery is currently located. We also tasted two Gins distilled in-house. The George Bishop Gin is pretty good. We enjoyed the tour of the site as well where the distillation process was explained to us. For such a small team of 8, it sure takes a lot to produce such good quality products. We were told Darren and Sam, the founders, are extremely passionate about the Distillery. And it was extremely evident based on what we saw. We are so glad we have such a great Distillery literally 10 minutes walk away.

I was bought the gin making experience as a birthday present and wasn’t disappointed at all We were greeted by a lovely friendly lady who explained that we were going to be served a large George Bishop gin and tonic as part of our tour which was lovely Naomi introduced herself and explained the first part of the gin making process Naomi went through the whole process at the same time we started to make the gin Very interesting picking your botanicals etc… before measuring out We were then served the toffee liqueur with ginger ale and ice in a copper mug which was excellent We bottled our gin and chose a name which was then labelled whilst we were served our final drink of the Wild gin with fevertree raspberry and rhubarb tonic A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and Naomi was very helpful friendly and knowledgeable about making Gin I can highly recommend the experience
