I'm reluctantly writing this review due to the fact that I have not received a response from the restaurant regarding a food poisoning. On the 12th of July I was part of a 10 person party attending on the Saturday evening at 7:30pm, whist i had no problems with my order and neither did 7 others but 2 persons ordered the margarita pizza, whist there appeared to be no issues both of them were struck down with severe food poisoning within a 5 hour period which is the classic time period for food issues, neither party live togther nor had eaten anything beforehand in fact 1 of them hadn't eaten a thing all day, my wife went into the restaurant the next day and spoke with staff, they defended the situation saying it wouldn't have come from the pizza and they would look into it, despite this we have had no update and I will now avoid at all costs and tell anyone who is thinking of going there to avoid as they clearly dont seem to value customers, to make it worse we went out as a group to wildwood prior to my sons wedding day on the Monday, both infected persons were part of the wedding party and continued to suffer severe diarrhea and vomiting into the sunday evening and spoilt the day for them as they were both very fragile, its not the 1st time I've been to wildwood and every other experience was good however this is unacceptable considering we spent over £400. I will Not be going again you have lost a good customer who regularly spends a large amount...
Read moreTerrible toilets, they're mixed so it's uncomfortable if you want to freshen up lipstick etc. The way they work is a long row with alternate male and female, but you are totally reliant on the men who use them respecting the signs on the loo, which doesn't always happen. Men who enjoy using the loo with a woman's sign on it and leaving the door unlocked so that a woman can walk in on them, are well catered for here. I walked in on one of these on Friday, it was quite early so I don't think it was a case of him being drunk and confused, but if he wasn't he's got plausible deniability. If restaurants are going to have loos organised in this way then they need to have staff going in regularly to police the usage. I hope they do regular sweeps for hidden cameras as well and it might be helpful to have signs up reminding everyone to use the right loo and to lock the door while doing so.
I did tell a waiter about walking in on a man who chose not to lock the door and he asked if I wanted to see the manager about it, but I didn't. I wanted to enjoy an evening out, not have tiresome conversations about toilets. I've no idea why restaurants think adding this extra nuisance to an evening out is...
Read moreFood quality was fantastic but for the price we paid for the steak, it didn't really come with a lot at all (steak, fries and something green for garnish) but the food quality did make up for this...
Had a starter (some sort of fish/seafood) and the steak meal as a main. If you want a meal to fill you up, this is not the place/option to go with!
Maybe some other dishes would have suited my appetite better!
This can be let off though by the service we received and the atmosphere in the place! It was early evening on a Tuesday so fairly quiet but still it felt homely and definitely wasn't boring...
There were 15/17 of us that went out for a very belated Xmas party, as we work in the hospitality and catering industry ourselves and we do tend to be critical, it's in our nature, but not one of us had anything negative to say...
The drinks kept flowing and all in all a great night!
It's a very pleasant experience but I would recommend either eating a snack beforehand or go visit a Maccy D's afterwards...
This happened in March(ish) but it only appeared as a notification to leave a review today so chances are the menu has changed so this could all be for...
