First visit here the other day. Struggled to find the place to begin with. It was a quiet day so managed to get a parking space but parking is a problem although it's clear the staff are addressing this and have had permission from a nearby pub and school to use their car parks on weekends etc. The food was probably the same as most indoor play areas, I had no complaints and neither did my daughter. I would come again as it's a good sized indoor play with a few slides. However, it really does need a good clean. The soft play was really grubby and food trampled in places. This must be frustrating for staff as there are clear signs saying no food to be taken inside. But like most soft play areas, there are those select few parents who sit on their phones and let their kids do what they want. Also the place needs a really good dust. I know its difficult to reach in places but the amount of dust that sits on top of the swirly slide and on top of the actual play area, looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the place opened. Maybe do a thorough cleaning once a month or something. That's all that let's the place down really, parking and cleanliness. The staff were...
Read moreThe worst soft play place I have ever been. Staff is unprofessional and doesn’t know anything about customer service. First time there and there was none greeting me. Had to ask for a tour. Ended up myself and my daughter getting really hurt and they refused a refund because they said they didn’t see or hear anything which is not true. The mother of the boy who hurt us ( I got kicked hard in back towards kidney and on my neck multiple times and my daughter pushed hard) was shouting for one hour and telling him not to hurt us and she was literally sat next to the counter where they serve food and they were there multiple times. The boy also hurt another child too. No accident report either.after one hour of getting hit and jumped on the neck and getting kicked I had to leave and they didn’t even care. They didn’t even update the Facebook profile and was supposed to be messy play and the blonde staff member talk to me like an idiot as if i can’t read and was so rude. Absolutely disgusting! Avoid...
Read moreWe arrived at Playmania without booking in advance. The man on reception pointed out that they were only accepting bookings online, and that we would not be admitted without booking online first.
I offered to pay for her to go in for the remainder of the current session but he point-blank refused as we hadn't booked online. We left with my 4yo in tears.
As I had promised her a play session I booked online for the next session. We returned 20 minutes later and joined the queue to enter, by now the bad-tempered man had been replaced by a pleasant blonde lady. Now for the basis of my poor review.
The people in the queue in front of us had not booked online either. "No problem" said the blonde lady who took payment and let them through.
Why turn us away as we hadn't booked, only to allow everyone else?
I would have given one star but my daughter had a good time in there (when we got past the miserable bloke) , and the place was...
