Kent Amusements — Local services in Newry, Mourne and Down District Council

Both my husband and I went here on Thursday night, we spent a lot of money. My stupid ancient machine was clicking. I was playing in twenties and I got 5 mixed 7, this ancient machine dropped the first seven. It then proceeded to go to 5 red sevens just below the line.it started spinning so I got nothing.

It happened to my husband as well he got 5 mixed bars and it went again luckily he took a photo with his phone. It was constantly happening to a man and woman from Lisburn as well. My husband complained and he was told you can't get the parts for these old machines. I was horrified at that remark, they make enough money out of everyone so get a professional into fix them or better still invest in new ones.

I can only say we were treated appallingly, no satisfaction at all. I can only assume if this is how they treat all customers no wonder it was almost empty. I have been to slots all over northern Ireland and have never been treated...

Located on Newcastle's Central promenade, it is a must for a visit for both youngsters and the young at heart! We visited with a 3 year old and a 20 month old toddler. Great range of kiddie rides from mini hobby horses (taking 3 children per go), spinning tea cups (2 children per go), unicorn carriage, and racing horses to name a few. Usual "bigger kids" arcade/virtual reality simulators, tipping point style 2p and 10p machines, slots, grab a prize etc. Tickets for playing most games that accumulate to exchange for prizes. Dodgems at the back. Coin exchange kiosk and also coin exchange machines. Busy through the day, quieter in the evenings. Great experience at Kent's amusements. I brought two young children in for thier first holiday experience. I am a lone parent and was anxious. I met a employee called Gerard who made me feel welcome, safe, went above and beyond with customer service and was down to earth and made me laugh. The kids had a great time. Suitable for aged 4 and 7, they had 'the best day of thier lives' in Kent's amusements. We were able to get help when needed and felt taken care off.
