Just over 18 months ago we was looking for a quality butcher without going to farm shops which can be miles away. Our first visit we were welcomed with a pleasant smile from Ian Kemp and his colleague George who was a credit to the business. the produce on offer is of exceptional quality, yes as the old saying goes you pay for quality but don't fear they are not excessively expensive if they were we would not be using them as our only butcher over this period of time. Advise is always there on how to cook along with temperatures for their produce. They have an amazing amount of products that are cooked on site as they make their own Pork Pies along with numerous other items including individual ready meals. Went in for the time after a friend recommended them. Went in for some minced Chuck brisket and ground beef to make a home made burger and boy I wasn’t disappointed with quality of the meat or the staff. Staff very friendly and very very knowledgable even advised me how best to cook the burger that’s not something I’ve had in other butchers something that for me adds the personal touch shows they care and want you to get the best out of the produce. Also recommended some cured streaky bacon that was Devine with the burger the price was fantastic and was shocked how resonable the price was . This covers the butchers themselves, knowledgeable and skilled, friendly and helpful.

It also covers the massive range of excellent local meats and other cheeses, butter, bread to name a few.

To find a family company whose aim is to be friendly, and treat their customers in a way seldom seen these days, is a pleasure. In the past 3 years I have enjoyed eating everything I have purchased. The quality of the meat is, really quite amazing.
