I just came from the meat section! I've always been a customer there and have had very good service from the gentlemen there until today when the actual owner of the butcher was there! I was buying the mix mutton and i said to the guy serving me " please give me more meat than bone" i alwaus cheekily say that to the guys and they always smile and say im giving you the best and i always say thank you! This man just started telling me don't tell my guys that! We don't like it blah blah blah! I responded by saying i do not say it in a bad way and your guys always take it well plus if i have coursed offence i didn't mean it that way! He went on and on and told me if i don't like it buy elsewhere and told me if im buying the till is that way! I'm appalled by his behaviour. I got angry and decided i didn't need the meat anyway and i asked God for forgiveness for getting so mad! I walked away and will never return. Note! All the staff there are brilliant and very courteous. I have no idea what's wrong with that man. He can go to hell...

Disappointed. I paid at the till and checked my receipt. Realised that some of the marked prices did not match the till price which was more expensive! On querying I said the price needs to be made clear - he then said I can always ask at the till (?) why would you ask when you believe price labels must be true- unless, of course, it a big fat lie. Basically in other word don't believe the prices they mark on the shelfs - ask at the till cos its likely to be more expensive. I bought some meat and chicken today and bought some marinated lamb shish, I was a bit hesitant as usually whenever I go to any halal shop and see marinated meat and ask if it’s lamb and they say yes and always turns out to be mutton, ( as mutton is hard and chewy) so I thought I will try my luck with this shop but am glad I bought it , as the lamb was very tender and cooked really quick, if you have been disappointed elsewhere try rajah stores...
