Rude and Racist Business Owner!

The owner came out of the shop yelling just because my aunt parked on the further side of the parking spaces in front of the shop. My aunt was inside the car! Not even out! The lady owner came to her car and started shouting while making fun of her for having a driver's license and poor english. Didn't even ask nicely to move the car! Non of your business lady! This is clearly racism and poor business owner behaviour! Threatened us that she will call the police! I have no idea how this place has 4 stars! I don't usually leave low star business reviews but this situation had me doing it. Other reviewers had the same issue as me so it's undestadanble why my aunt had to go through it. This shouldn't be allowed. All business owners have bad days and it's understandable, but never take it out on the public or customers! I tried speaking to the owner but she kept rejecting because she can only raise her voice on...

Upon returning from a short break we stopped off here to collect fish & chips rather than queue for ages at our local (fabulous) chippy. We bought 2 large fish, one small chips and 2 cartons of peas, thinking this would be a fab treat to end our holiday. It LOOKED great! Huge fish! However, the fish was vile - thin, grey, rubbery, dry, chewy and tasted stale. It should be white inside and melt in your mouth! I kept trying different bits, thinking maybe it was just dry at the edges. No. Awful. They were inedible. Clearly we'd been sold yesterday's unsold fish, or at the very least, leftover lunchtime fish (this was around 6pm). We wrapped the fish back up, intending to take it back this evening and ask for a refund, but in the end couldn't face the drive. Hence this review. The chips were reasonably okay and the mushy peas were fine. We ate those. We will NEVER go back to...

Parked in customer parking, board clearly mentioned that. Was half way out of my car and the owner (?) lady came out yelling, claiming that I couldn’t park my car there. There were several other cars parked there. Told me that she could call the “police” on us and everyone else parked there if she wanted (I hadn’t even said a word to her yet) and that I should park elsewhere. When I mentioned that I wanted to order food and ask what time the shop was closing down, I was told to shut up. Two other white families came and parked a minute after this altercation, she said nothing to them. I’m a POC. So is she? Problematic. Internalised racism, I guess. Her breath stank too when she was all up in my face. Like, really bad. Would not recommend, unless you can somehow make it inside without her crazy self demanding you...
