Update 2023 - Sadly they no longer sell fish, but the rest of my review in 2019 continues to remain true.... Original Review 2019 - I really enjoy visiting this fish, amphibian and reptile shop, the staff are very polite and knowledgeable, and their animal stock is quite extensive and unique with many snakes, lizards, geckos, frogs, snails, tropical fish, cold water fish, spiders etc. They have a range of live foods such as crickets, mealworms and little bugs etc as well as frozen foods such as pinkies, mice, rats, chicks etc. The health and quality of their live stock is very high, and you will often notice that animals that are resting are very relaxed, and animals that are awake are alert and curious. The enclosures are clean and well maintained and the animals used to human interaction. They stock a range of accessories for all the animals they stock and sell, from the simple things like bowls, filters, air pumps, nets, protein blocks, lamp holders and charcoal to the more specialised items such as UV lamps, ceramic rocks, heat bulbs, snake/reptile enclosures (terrariums) and lots more! Their prices I feel are reasonable, and it would be nice if you could support the local community shops rather than purchasing online, as at the shop you get a wealth of information from experienced staff, something you don't get online. There is a local bus stop almost right outside and free parking outside the shop, so if you want to introduce your children to these animals, this is a wonderful shop to visit as there are many enclosures low enough that they can be viewed even by toddlers, this type of environment in a store of this type is quite magical as it can help reduce those occasional fears of snakes and spiders some children (even adults) develop as they grow, my curiosity in snakes started as a child, so to me, this...

Havent left this shop a review before but just popped down there to grab some bedding for my ball pythons and have a look at some frilled dragons as I'm looking to purchase one so thought I'd would do a review

Well I'll begin with my first two visits which resulted in my purchasing a python both times. The staff and owner here are fantastic they are very knowledgeable and passionate about these animals and the shop. I 100% recommended if your looking for information and purchasing your first reptile or even purchasing one for a collection I would recommend this place to anyone everytime. I have 1 pastel royal python and 1 banana royal python both from this shop both healthy and doing fantastic. Also the full setups I purchased from here with no issues

I have just spent about 45mins to an hour with the owner getting all the information I need about frilled dragons and set ups which has now helped me alot he also was kind enough to show me his personal animals with some hands on which was amazing ! so as soon as I am ready I will be back to collect my setup and new frilled dragon from this shop. All animals are all healthy and very well cared for

Extremely knowledgable staff and their more than willing to help with advice. Excellent selection of well looked after reptiles and creepy crawlies , only use them for all our reptile needs as definitely the best about.. Pretty good prices and really friendly welcoming staff. We got our reptile from a private seller and was far to young and vulnerable (which we were unaware of) luckily the advice given to us and information provided was outstanding and because of them our bearded dragon is thriving. Don't bother with the rest, these guys are the best.. Some of the reptiles they have are unavailable anywhere else in this country or even Europe.
