Spicy and Nice — Local services in Preston

Order 2 seekh kebab rolls with salad and mint sauce. Unwrapped the rolls at home to find my seekh kebabs torn up into small pieces in the naan. There were literally maybe 10 small pieces of kebab and a whole load of salad and sauce.

The torn kebab pieces tasted like mushy meat, nothing like a seekh kebab. I've never in my life ordered a seekh kebab roll and received torn pieces of kebab in naan. Why would you tear them up??

The only reason that comes to mind is to hide the fact that they only put in two tiny kebabs in there. If they were whole they would have got lost in the naan and salad. I wouldn't even call them seekh kebabs, they didn't taste like any seekh kebab I've ever had.

The menu is so vast and varied, how can they even begin to think they can do all these dishes justice?!

I rang to complain and they tried to tell me that's how they serve their kebab roll.. They charged me £17 for this joke of a meal. I went back and returned the kebab rolls and asked for my money back which they did kindly returned.

However, when I got back home, I received a call from them asking why I hadn't returned the separate salad and sauce. I honestly hadn't realised that I'd not returned it, and in any case, not sure why they gave this separately as I'd ask for salad and mint sauce on the kebab (which they'd done anyway).

I assume they'd charge me extra for the salad and sauce. So, they wanted me to drive back and return the salad and sauce?!

I advised that I wasn't prepared to drive all the way back to give them 2 salad boxes and 2 tubs of mint sauce. I did state to them that they can happily pick it up if they'd like it back though.

I honestly cannot believe how petty they were.

Tasty and hygienic food, well packed in foil containers instead of plastic. Butter Chicken tikka masala is my top pick.
