First of all i went in first hand to ask were they ready for cats injections then told yes. Then when bringing them in two other lads came in with about 8 bulldogs before us which wasn't great service because we were just sat there then. The girl who did them was quik and efficient but when doing so the lads concern was more about taking the payment. But i wouldn't mind when he had finally got the over all total from her i was just left there standing clueless to how i make the payment as i wasn't told after being almost nagged for it. To then presume and use my own initiative that it was this small black calculator looking thing on his table as he didn't tell me till i asked and he said yes. To then realise it was completely battery dead and he hadn't even bothered to link the payment through from his laptop after all that. So he told me to just go to the main till in shop which i did and they would know. But when arriving the guy on the till "Stephen" was so rude and asked me to list everything i was paying for which i thought was irrelevant as that was not my job. To then storm off and speak to the guy who hadn't obviously make him aware to then have the audacity the speak to me so rudely and arrogant like it was my problem they couldn't take a simple payment. Then had the cheek to ask me did i want to join the members club what a joke after that terrible customer service. I left store raging in shock and then went back into store to then ask for both mens names and only be given poor lads name from the back but not the one on till who was the worst of all. Unfortunately for the girl i had already noted it when served because i was s that appalled. Worst customer...
Read moreBeen using Jolleys for about 2 years now, mainly for my cats but I have also bought fish, plants, etc for my tropical tanks. Usually the lads are great in there especially the young lad I think his name is Oliver. I haven't used Jolleys for fish for some time now until yesterday when I was served by a new girl I hadn't seen before called Stephanie (supervisor, so her badge stated) from the off she was very abrupt, straight away she started to question me about my tank which I don't mind but she made me feel like I was someone without a clue, I've been running tropical fish tanks for the past 5 years. The service goes on and she is just so rude towards us and continues to be abrupt. We finally get served and I must of stood at the till 5 minutes plus whilst she messed around on her phone and eventually we were served. I got the fish home opened the bag to start floating the bag and the smell from the water out of the aquarium was vile, like stagnant lake. Luckily they have survived but how dare she question me like I don't know jack ** about fish and care of fish when you have them sat in water like that. I stopped buying fish from here after they kept dying within the first 24hrs. There is literally never any staff on the floor and it's not like it isn't a busy shop, there is always people looking around for staff or a que builds up and they are waiting 20minutes because other staff and sorting someone with an animal or advice. I won't be returning to this store again unfortunately and I hope...
Read moreLove this store. Jollyes is the best pet shop out there. The animals aren't sold for a profit like other pet stores who will remain nameless. The animals are well cared for and the staff are knowledgeable in their advice. The health of two rats I purchased from here is so good, they are huge now over a year on compared to other rats I've purchased elsewhere who have all had health conditions and were generally "sickly", but my two Maximus and Commodus are fantastic boys. I do particularly like that the animals aren't overcrowded also, and that they have boredom breakers and things to do in their for sale tanks. I buy my hay from here, as well as treats and snacks however I have queried whether Jollyes will be selling Science Selective rat food alongside other rat mixes, however we must hold on and hope the store can eventually sell these items as I'd love to shop at this store only and not Amazon. They also have a rewards loyalty program which offers vouchers and coupons from time to time and it is nice to be rewarded for shopping somewhere. Just hope we can have more rat food options available soon. Other than that, two thumbs up for Jollyes...
