Ilirian Greek Taste Eccles — Restaurant in Salford

A friend and I came in on Wednesday evening and I have to say, I was so impressed with this place. We loved it and will be coming back for sure.

It's quite a causal, cafe style place (in a really good way) and feels comfortable and inviting. The food couldn't have been better. There's lots to choose from, so we ordered some different bits and shared it, and every dish was as lovely as the next. Good size portions, delicious authentic greek food all on different plates, and the chips were great too (always a good thing!). We had a lovely fresh desert from the counter too.

The lady who served us (tall, brown haired lady) was very friendly, smiley and really helpful when we were deciding on what to order.

Prices are very reasonable and the bill came to £27 I think. Which is great for a big meal of this quality. We didn't drink alcohol, but still very reasonable.

I cannot recommend this place enough, it feels like it's exactly what Eccles (and similar areas) needs!

We came here today after our usual Greek place in Eccles we go to was full. We found this place on google, and upon arrival was very warmly greeted by the waiter, she was lovely.

The atmosphere and decor in the place was stunning. It felt like being in Greece! It looked like a proper Greek restaurant.

We were also very surprised about the low prices. The full mixed grill attached in the picture was just £10. £10! Yes for all that food! This is a bargain considering other places charge literally almost DOUBLE the prices. And half the usual price for gyros too.

As expected from the other reviews the food was delicious. Just proper Greek food which of course was perfection!

What more can you ask for? Fantastic atmosphere and service, friendly and happy staff, fantastic prices, and delicious food.

We will definitely only be coming to this place from now on and won't be going anywhere else for Greek food! I wish the best for this business, they...

Very clean table's inside and thr floor is relatively clean to, just needs a sweep from the last few customers. It's a nice chilled atmosphere inside with white walls complimented by black door trim and blinds. The chairs inside are fun and colourful and bring the space together with the beach/food wall hangings.

There were 3 staff present when I visited who all looked clean and well groomed.

There is a laminated menu on the table's as well as behind the till. A small choice but all sound very delicious.

I have a medium chocolate milkshake which was quick to arrive at my table after ordering. I also had a haloumi gyro which didn't take long to be served.

There were a handful of chips, fresh salad which consisted of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and onions on top of two large slices of haloumi and the bread /wrap base. Drizzled in a mayo/ yoghurt style sauce.
