Wedged somewhere between an industrial estate, a railway line, and a small distance from a GCHQ outpost is this little nature reserve that has a mix of trees and water, amounting to a small lake, and plenty of pathways between it. I saw plenty of dragonflies doing their thing this 2021 summer - a pair of swans, and it was very peaceful considering the nearby seafront was as busy as it has been in years. The entrance to the reserve is pepperd with dog mess and some areas of the lake have drinks cans and other rubbish in them. Also, some areas of the footprint are so overgrown with nettles and thorns that they are almost impossible.
