Nisa Local — Local services in Walsall

Handy local shop. A very good selection of all essentials; very well organised, with occasional special offers. I rarely ever pop in. On two separate occasions when I did, the same mature lady served me at the till. And it was unpleasant experience both times. The item's shelf price displayed was lower than the price on the item-label itself. She charged me the higher price. When I mentioned the lower price, she looked irritated, marched to the relevant aisle, 'studied' the price, mumbled, and punched in the correct (lower) price. Next time I shopped, the breakfast cereal once again had original price (higher) on its packet and the shelf price (Nisa price) was lower. This time round, same lady never gave me itemised till receipt, just the credit card payment receipt. I didn't bother asking. At home when I totalled the individual prices, she'd overcharged me on the cereal. Same pattern as before. So, experience tells me to be on my guard if this same person serves me at the till. And to make sure she hands me my till receipt....

Amazing management and lovely staff. This place supported the local community brilliantly through the COVID crisis, always maintaining stocked shelves and offering the usual friendly service. Recent improvements in the store mean there's an even better range of products available, still with the friendly service I've come to expect here....
