I’d received a voucher for Mother’s Day and was really looking forward to using it in December as a last treat before our third baby arrives. Unfortunately, the day before we both became very ill with a nasty virus with fevers, cough, shaking, sickness and terrible headaches. Our children also caught it so we were unable to use the childcare we’d arranged as it would have spread to grandparents. We didn’t want to risk spreading this nasty virus to the other pottery customers, as well as being too ill to attend ourselves, so asked if we could transfer the booking to the next week, which had spaces available, and we were happy to pay a transfer fee. Honeybourne Pottery refused and kept the full £200 of our money. They offered a little money off rebooking which would mean that in order to rebook, having already paid hundreds of pounds, we would have to pay hundreds more! So upset to have lost both the opportunity and all the money, when we could easily have paid an additional charge to transfer to...

A seriously great activity to do alone or with friends.

I wouldn’t have thought that pottery would have been my thing as I’m not very creative, however it’s fantastic and most definitely will do it again.

You have time to just fully switch off and focus for 90 minutes, so relaxing and of course your leave with a sense of achievement even if some Of the pieces are questionable.

We booked the 90 minute taster and in that time you have more than enough time to learn, practice and create.

The session is fun, interactive and engaging and shout out to Tilly, who was really helpful, supportive and...

Had a wonderful session yesterday. Did the 1 hr throw and decorate with 10 friends and it was great. Was a bit worried we wouldn't fit it all in in an hour but it was perfect amount of time. We had clear instruction, the team were patient and friendly and relaxed. We threw a pot each on the wheel with much hilarity and then decorated them. We had the studio to ourselves and it was the perfect place to have a laugh and enjoy ourselves. I think many of us left wanting to do it again, it was very addictive!! Thank you to Alan and all the team,...

Neither of us had ever used a potter’s wheel before, we were soon filling up our waste bucket with failed attempts, but seriously, with the instructions it didn’t take us long to get the hang of it. We made bowls, candle holders and even a small plate! The hosts were welcoming, friendly & warm. They regularly checked in on us to see how we were doing, if we needed anything or to answer questions. We loved it & would definitely recommend you having a go.

We had such a great time at the pottery taster session—just me, my husband, and my mother-in-law. The whole experience was super fun and relaxed, even though we were total beginners. The instructor was lovely and made everything easy to follow. We had loads of laughs and came away with some handmade pieces we're actually proud of. A brilliant way to spend time together—would definitely recommend! Thank you! ❤️
