My husband and I went to Ferguson on the recommendation of our daughter. She was working with a builder, while we were remodeling our kitchen on our own. Perhaps that accounts for our vastly different experiences. We paid in full for a high end range and dishwasher. Ferguson was efficient, helpful and knowledgable up until that point. Lisa E., however, who was our sales rep, was then either abducted by aliens or had zero interest in her customers who had already paid. Let's go with the alien theory just to be charitable. In the 14 months that followed I was unable to reach her by phone or email. Emails simply went unanswered. Calls to Ferguson sent me to other stores, where I would begin explaining to yet another person which appliances I had purchased and asking for an update. At one point one of these people, I believe in the Charlotte store, told me my range had been received and was scheduled to be delivered in 3 days. I was caught completely off-guard, and scrambled to find a gas company with an available propane tank. I shouldn't have worried though. My range wasn't coming in 3 days. Or anytime in the near future. Just kidding? Around the same time I was also told my dishwasher had been pushed out another YEAR. I tried to be understanding because of pandemic related supply chain issues, but when I received that news I keyed my dishwasher model number into Amazon and received the exact same model that week. I canceled the Ferguson dishwasher, and eventually received the range in a damaged condition as I was about to cancel that order. Finally reaching the elusive Lisa E., I was promised repairs and some money back. Surprise! Both took months to get. While we paid for 2 appliances in May 2021, the entire process took until March 2023, and we ended up with just one of the 2 appliances we initially ordered. In summary, if you want appliances shop anywhere else. If you want customer service try McDonalds, but avoid Ferguson!
Update June 2023: If you read my review and the response from Ferguson, you will note they asked me to contact them. I did respond and never heard...
Read moreDont buy KitchenAidkitchenaid products I warn you all. Here is the update on our third time dealing with a broke down 2 year old fridge we bought. Second time this happened I lost 220oz of breastmilk this time our fridge has been broken a week already and service came out today and fridge still does not work and part has to be ordered which could mean another week or 2 without a fridge. After working a 12 hour shift during a pandemic at the hospital I come home to hungry 3 year old asking for a yogurt snack and a 1 year old demanding a bottle of milk. What does KitchenAid respond to me in private message, basically that its the third party warrenty companies issue. No ownership that they have a crap product or to make the right wrong. I had an early family Thanksgiving dinner planned this Saturday since i have to work the Holiday...how do you suppose I do that with no fridge? KitchenAid takes no responsibility in ensuring their customer issues are resolved. Dont purchase their products it will cause nothing but a headache. They should overnight their stupid little part and get this crap fixed. Dont bother contacting them by phone its a 5 hr on hold game...
