Pennsylvania General Store I want to share this gift company with the general public, because a company like this should get recognized to all who want to send a special gift to someone they care about. It’s December 16th and I’m still shopping, looking for that perfect gift for some of my most special friends. I did not even know about the Pennsylvania General Store until I started to look around on the internet. I saw their products and immediately knew that this was the site for me. I ordered two Philadelphia of Tastykake baskets with the Philadelphia Christmas ball. I called the company to place my order. The customer service person was very helpful, very polite and knew her stuff. It felt so good to know that my orders were in such good hands. She represented the company so well and could not have been nicer. I also want to tell you about the delivery person. He called ahead of time to tell his ETA as he was delivering to a very special friend of mine who is elderly and lives alone in an apartment building. He took such care in making sure she got her gift. He is a very polite and kind young man. I understand that he is very community oriented person helping his community stay safe. I would give both the customer service rep and the delivery person a rating of 11. I just wanted to take a moment to thank the PGS staff, especially Ellen Judy, for helping make our holiday special. My husband and I live in NYC but have roots in Philly so we wanted to give a taste of PA to the staff in our apartment building as a thank you for all their hard work during the pandemic. We ordered 2 Keystone Collection baskets. Only one arrived but Ellen Judy immediately sent out another. Somehow however it went to the wrong address. Ellen Judy sent us another basket right away. Our building staff was absolutely delighted with the goodies and we were delighted with the customer service we received. I have never had a more pleasant service experience than when I deal with your company-we are your customers for life. Thanks so very much for helping us spread some PA holiday cheer to a bunch of very tired New Yorkers. My first visit to this retail store and am I glad I finally went there. I have purchased from PA General on line for years and have always been happy with their products. While everything you can purchase on line is not available in the store, they do have quite an assortment and the store associates are extremely pleasant and very helpful. I called before I went to make sure what I wanted was available in the store. The associate took the time to look at their inventory and assured me they had the items I wanted.
