Trios Tomato Pie — Restaurant in Abington Township

I usually order from this place once a week or so. Well today I had a salad delivered. As soon as I opened it up and took a fork full of lettuce, I realized there was a dark long strand of hair in between it, which was now hanging out of my mouth. I was mortified! Obviously the hair was not mine as my hair is short and curly. I called to let them know right away in an effort to 1 inform them to be more careful and 2 have them rectify the situation by either refunding my money or providing something else instead.

The young lady who answered told me to hold on. After a few minutes she came back on and said, "I'm really sorry, but it's highly unlikely it came from us because no one has long hair back here." She went on to say, we can make you another salad. I told her it is absolutely ridiculous to apologize then say it's highly unlikely it came from you all. When I literally just had the salad delivered and my hair is not long or straight and I'm the only one here! It's asinine and ridiculous! Wasted money and poor customer service. I will not patronize this...

I ordered a tomato pie with added mozzarella cheese on top. I received a pizza with small dabs of tomato sauce and smothered in cheese. I called and explained that a tomato pie is wall to wall with tomato sauce and only added extra cheese. The establishment explained that the tomato pie only comes with small dabs of tomato sauce, which was completely foreign to me. Driest pizza ever! Will be ordering from Vincent’s going forward. Don’t recommend paying high way robbery for an inferior pie.

Need to upgrade my status on Trios Tomato Pie in Elkins Park:

Ordered a Longabardy with extra sauce, and it was delivered in 20 minutes with the pizza still setting up. The only problem with this pie was not enough for a bachelor living alone. Completely outstanding pie, typically as it is.

Previous complaint was more related to poor customer service on a mediocre pie. Someone needs retraining. My GF and her family have been ordering and dining in for years since they opened up in Glenside. Great BYOB restaurant and great salads and awesome...

A week ago was the First time I ordered from Elkins park they forgot my bottle of soda. This week I was told 30 minutes for delivery. It came 1 hr 15 minutes later and the order was WRONG! The person taking my order repeated it to me and they still got it WRONG! It’s a shame their food when delivered correctly is good. I was willing to pay a little more for them. Now NO! I am editing this to 3 stars for one reason only. I spoke with the owner and he apologized and was very “clear” and honest with his language about the issue I greatly appreciated that. Again their food is really good. I will give them another chance and or edit this again provided I get my food tonight. I am giving incredible props to the owner! My rating started as a 1 because of service and is now a 5 because of his handling of the situation. Their food is AWESOME! Their wings are great, they know how to pkg them for delivery.
