Panic Escape Room Games — Local services in Addison Township

First time in an escape room for both me and my friend. And we absolutely loved it! The game master (I can’t remember her name) was super sweet, helpful and very informative. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable there thank you for that! We did the insidious room and it was 10/10! Since there wasn’t very much information online I booked it because I am a horror fan, and have seen the movies and thought it sounded like a really cool idea, but I didn’t know that it was an intermediate level room until our time was up and our game master came in and asked us what we thought and if we knew that it was an intermediate level room, lol. We did not, but she let us know that we actually did really good for our first time and for never being in an escape room. Regardless, I think everyone should do this room if you’re up for some jump scares and being shaken up just a little bit 😉. Apart from it being a scary room; it was definitely very challenging mentally and it was fun because it kept you looking for more and really makes you use your brain, to be a detective and really take in every little detail when you normally wouldn’t outside of that room. I think other than it being fun (in my personal opinion) this has helped me with a very essential life skill- to not overlook the extremely small details in any aspect because they could be important later on! Will absolutely be back to finish this room (it’s now a mission!)...

We’ve been to other Panic Escape Room locations before and always had a great time, but our experience at the Addison location today (June 30th, 9:00 PM booking) was disappointing due to the customer service.

From the moment we arrived, Sydney ( or Cindy) was noticeably rude. We had already signed the waiver ahead of time, but when some of us stayed behind to check in while the others went to use the bathroom, she immediately halted us with attitude about the waiver—even though it was already completed.

While we were checking in and trying to make friendly conversation, her tone was curt and dismissive. It honestly felt like she didn’t want to be there—and if that’s how you feel, maybe this isn’t the right job.

After we brought up her attitude and mentioned possibly leaving a bad review, her demeanor suddenly changed and she became much more pleasant. But by that point, the first impression had already affected the mood.

We’ve had great experiences at other Panic Escape Room locations, but this visit to the Addison spot didn’t meet the same...

An Amazing Escape Room Experience!

Panic Escape Room Games was such a fun and memorable experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and set the mood perfectly with great energy and clear instructions. The rooms themselves were very well designed—challenging enough to keep us thinking, but not impossible. The puzzles were creative, logical, and required real teamwork, which made the experience exciting from start to finish.

The atmosphere was immersive with excellent attention to detail in the props, lighting, and storyline. Every clue felt purposeful, and solving each step gave us that satisfying “aha!” moment. The game master was also fantastic—helpful when we needed a nudge but never gave away too much.

Whether you’re going with family, friends, or coworkers, Panic Escape Room Games is a fantastic way to spend time together, test your problem-solving skills, and have a lot of laughs along the way. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch escape...
