Addison Historical Museum — Attraction in Addison Township

Fun local history museum complex featuring a restored 1893 home called the Century House which was once the home of Lutheran school teachers and depicts home life from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the 1892 Balzer House with interesting local history displays and a Depression era Coach House featuring exhibits of the village's farming and business history. We had a personalized tour from the museum manager who was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. The only drawback is the limited public viewing hours of only two afternoons each week.
