If your parents didn’t get you a cake here growing up are you even Italian???

A Sicilian family took over this place not too long ago, three brothers, great guys…this place was always great but honestly I think the items taste even better than before. The staff is also friendlier than before. It’s also always great to walk into a place and be able to speak Italian!

Definitely a top stop for cakes, pastries, and cookies. FYI they’re Cash Only (old school place, but it’s worth it). Great bread and focaccia too.

Every now and then you need a nice crunchy lobster tail, cannoli, sfogliatelle, pasticiotti, decadent chocolate drop cookies, biscotti etc. They have one pastry shaped like a mushroom filled with Nocciola/hazelnut cream, spectacular. A number of options if you need to bring something to work or a friend’s house. Then they ask where you got it and you say “Italian Bakery”, “which Italian bakery?” “It’s literally called Italian Bakery”…and hilarity ensues. Seriously, they’ve always come through for me

This place is one of the best Italian Bakeries around this area of Addison. They are so great at making different kinds of delicious bread and sweets. I ordered their Iced Lemon Cookies and some Cannoli. Both of it was so great and perfectly cooked. The bread is fresh and tasty. The cookies are unique and incredibly sweet. Everything on their menu is delicious and when you look at the pictures it will make your mouth water. Really great place to bring your family and friends. But I recommend visiting here earlier to avoid long lines, this place is very busy, but they can still manage to serve all the customers so well. All of their staff here is really great, polite, and very entertaining. They really work and move so fast. All of the orders are served right and quickly. Super disappointed. DRY DRY DRY! Picked up a cannoli cake 10 inch from here since our joint party was in Addison - despite us living over an hour away... we decided to go with the Italian bakery based on the many local fans we know and the RAVING positive cannoli reviews online only to be extremely disappointed. No one would eat it- it was that dry. We picked it up on a Sunday, they are closed Monday, I attempted to call Tuesday to let them know about the cake, started mentioning to the woman who answered the phone, she put me on hold... I waited... I waited over 15 min before I hung up the phone, called back just to be put on hold again... I wasn't going to wait anymore.
