We bought all new kitchen appliances approximately a year and a half ago. The appliances were definitely not the issue, the issue is poor customer service. About five or six weeks ago our refrigerator stopped working and we woke up needing to throw all of the food out from the refrigerator as well as the freezer. Luckily, we had purchased a two year warranty so we called to get things rolling. The person that we talked to over the phone said they were pretty sure they knew what the issue was it I guess is the latest model for a refrigerator that Samsung has made, and it seemed to have an issue with a certain part so he said he would order it, and they would let us know when it came in. Unfortunately, that was not the issue and we needed to get a new refrigerator. We were using a cooler and bags of ice for my husband's medication as well as anything we wanted to eat. We were contacted and told that when they had the coupon, they would mail it to us so that we could go on the site and order the refrigerator again. My husband had explained to someone there that we had lost a lot of money in food as well as buying bags of ice. Every day we were told to make a list we were given a name in an email to send it to that person which we did. We did not hear back so after two weeks we sent another request. I was told to call a one 800 number to see if customer service could help. We received the refrigerator the day after Thanksgiving, which of course ruined our holiday as well as going a full month with just a cooler and purchasing ice for a family of three. No apologies no phone calls asking if they could refund any of the money that we lost with all the food we had thrown away as well as all the ice that we had to buy for a month time. I just find it appalling that customer service is that poor. That we had to wait a month and then wait and receive a coupon to order our own refrigerator after having a warranty. I have told my family and friends that sometimes customer service is more important than the quality of the product and this has proven it. We will never purchase from Samsung again because of the way we...
Read moreI  am beyond disappointed with both Samsung and their appliance service partner, ServiceQuick. What should have been a simple repair turned into a nightmare of incompetence, wasted money, and endless runarounds.
My dishwasher stopped cleaning dishes properly, so Samsung sent a "professional" technician from ServiceQuick. Here’s how it went:
Appointment 1: They diagnosed it as a faulty wire harness.
Appointment 2: We paid for the new wire harness… and the exact same problem persisted.
Appointment 3: Now they claimed it needed a brand-new circuit board and pressured us to buy yet another part.
Appointment 4: Under a 90-day warranty, we paid for a second replacement part… and STILL had the same issue.
Appointment 5: They tried to sell us a THIRD part, refusing to take responsibility for the previous failed "fixes."
When I contacted Samsung, they passed the buck to ServiceQuick. When I called ServiceQuick, they told me to go back to Samsung. Neither company would honor the warranty on the parts that didn’t solve the problem, leaving me stuck in an endless loop of terrible customer service.
I’ve wasted countless hours on the phone, dealt with an incompetent manager, and spent money on useless repairs—only to have the same unresolved issue. Samsung and ServiceQuick do not stand by their products or service.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid Samsung appliances and their repair services at all costs. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
Zero accountability. Zero reliability. Zero...
