The Rialto theater is an amazing piece of history and true remnant slice of small town Americana that can luckily still be experienced in downtown Aitkin. You can tell the theater was restored and is operated as a labor of love. I tip my cap to the owner for providing a wonderful piece of culture from yesteryear to the present. Downtown Aitkin wouldn't be the same without it. I can't tell you how many countless memories my family and I have from enjoying an evening drive into Aitkin to see a movie showing. I remember seeing 'Forrest Gump' there and too many other cinematic works of art to mention.
Thank you Rialto theater! I'm grateful for the great memories I have due you, and look forward to all the future ones I've yet to make....
