Family Dollar — Local services in Aitkin

I have been shopping at Family Dollar since 2019 AT LEAST once or twice a week. I have come across some of the best employees EVER. The store manager (Tracy) is dedicated to the position she has and goes above and beyond to present a good store with worthwhile employees who have above average retail knowledge.

There was a time not too long ago that I went into the store and was having trouble with my anxiety and it affected my asthma. Tracy noticed that I was having great difficulty trying to get a cart. She came over and asked me if I was ok. When I said I was just having trouble that day walking around, she grabbed the cart and asked me what I was there to get. I was able to say, "The basics." And she knew EXACTLY WHAT I MEANT. Pet supplies, milk, cereal and toilet paper and paper towels... She gathered the items and brought them to the counter. I've never had an experience like that at ANY other store.

Prices are always good and staff is almost always very friendly, but aisles are very very small and I always end up shopping when they are putting away products so the already small Isles are virtually impassible because of all of the extra merchandise waiting to be put away. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to what day they stock everything either. I prefer to go to the Crosby store whenever possible ... Same selection and prices, also friendly staff, but much bigger aisles and never walking around merchandise waiting...

Kenny is awesome! What great service. You can tell the guy really cares, and same goes for the rest of the staff. A great store, with great prices, and great service to boot....what more can a guy ask for? Best price on Tony's pizza in town. The Aitkin Family Dollar is by far my favorite Family Dollar. It's always clean, well-stocked, has friendly service....just an all-around great...
