I've been consistently impressed with the programs offered at First Tee of Greater Akron. Year after year, the staff organizes a supportive, high-spirited, and cheerful curriculum to a student body that is diverse and of varied ages and abilities. They treat each child with great respect and reach each individual with analogies and demonstrations designed to elevate student's abilities. This year, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, has been my first experience as a student athlete at First Tee of Greater Akron. As a novice, I have been very impressed with the amount of one-on one instruction and the way the teachers make the entire experience fun and engaging. Every teacher and pro has gone out of his way to make me feel welcome and accomplished. I’ve learned so much, even with the added protections of social distancing, and extra safety measures in place.
