This is the most tragedy my kids and I have had in our lives and the help that is provide from hope and healing has been awful. With Jeanne as my caseworker I’ve had to sign and resign papers that was forgotten and after complying with every face to face meeting and sending and bringing paperwork in it’s been 3 months and me and my children are still homeless. I’ve had the opportunity to get several houses but Jeanne keep saying it’s not Guarantee they will assist me with my deposit. School is starting now and we still haven’t received funding. It’s sad that we have been through many hurtful situations and the programs that are suppose to help you have people that forget your paperwork and treat you like it’s not important to have a place to stay because they’re not on the streets needing help. If you need help for housing I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have about 6 months for you and your children to be shuffled around. Everyone keep saying it’s my skin color and I’m starting to think they are right. People that’s in the career to help people has to have a heart for all and I don’t get that feeling, it’s all about funding for them. Try some where else before them because the frustration and careless attitude I’ve been dealing with since June is pulling the scabs off my children and I, and it hurts that this program has made me a believer that some programs just want the funding but they don’t really want to help or HEAL. They haven’t gave me ANY HOPE OR HEALING. Pray for me...

I got the call to start counseling 6 months after I first arrived and 4 months after I left. The children's play area was promised to be open according to a calendar but hardly ever was I would say it was open about 2 weeks of the two months I was there. Shelter staff yelled at my autistic child even after I provided them info sheets about his type of autism and I believe we were treated differently than others there because of my child's autism. There was supposed to be hair cuts available at the back to school event but there wasn't any opportunity to get my kids hair cut while I was there. I saw twice the amount of people leave there with no housing help that I saw leave with a place to go. I understand resources are stretched thin but it was more than just resources not being available in my opinion. I got more help from other residents who had almost nothing than I did from staff or the...

This place is a joke. Was told to come WITHOUT MY THINGS for intake I did so then was judged and told to have my things after driving an hour to meet their time to be there! You can’t be judgmental and break a person down more when they’re at their worst and then turned away!!! Oh but there’s so much help out here for women in desperate need……. WHERE?!!!! There isn’t! Thanks a lot for all the lies you have told me and breaking me down more!!!!...
