Taco Bell — Restaurant in Akron

The worst experience I’ve had in it made me understand why I don’t come to fast food restaurants @tocobell I came through the drive thru and I was on break in which i had 45 min when I ordered my food I didn’t have a bad experience I asked that my food was made fresh the employees told me that wasn’t a issue and they fulfilled my order because of my request of how I wanted my food prepared I didn’t know or even expect to just check the food I assumed my food was HOT AN FRESH I get 4 mins down the road and guess what I check the food and it’s cold as ICE so being I’m at work I call and say hey I can’t come back I just ordered 2 frys a Mexican pizza no meat my foods cold what is Taco Bell gonna do About this there response is bring the food back and we’ll replace it I said thank you I’ll be in around 5:30 now I get there a guy come from behind the food line and says can I help you of course I explain to him why I’m there and what happend earlier in the day he says not a problem I’ll take care of this now he says give me 3 mins for your Frys ok cool it’s 12 mins later I asked him what’s going on he says to me my manager said I gotta take care of the people In drive thru before I can prepare your food now please tell me how this make sense IF THE DRIVE THRU CARRYS A NON STOP SERVICE FOR 30 mins straight no one in the inside gets served to that drive Thru stops wait no that doesn’t sound right not at all so I asked him did his manager just tell him that he says yes WOW WOW WOW ok where is YOUR MANAGER here come this young kid whom just had a incounter with a customer and he was so high out his mind he couldn’t even explain to the woman why her pricing was different from ordering on the app vs instore he was getting stuck studering even told her that the app doesn’t apply work his location so back to my story here this same guy comes so I ask him why would I wait for the drive Thru to stop before I get served I said I was here before them customers and isn’t that why you got 5 workers sitting around to run both drive Thru and lobby once again it’s like he took some pills or he just smoked a fat ass blunt and I mean it’s nothing wrong with him getting high if that’s what he chooses to do but not while your on the clock so I asked him why he thinks that is ok not to serve me or make me wait and he says shiiiieeettt what you want me to do very unprofessional but I say I wanted my food but now I’d like my money back this joke ass kid gone say Man U gotta receipt I said look it up he say nah can’t do that walks away I said o no what’s ur name I’ll cal corporate he said to his co worker man give her ass her food I said I don’t want food give me my money no he refuses now this weird kid I haven’t talked to or seen this whole time come to the counter and says you need to leave or I’m calling the cops ok we’ll go ahead cause they gonna arrest him cause he high as hell so should I call Um I’m sure what ever he is high one he probably has more in his possession so should I call or u he says we don’t have to serve people like you whhhhaaaatttt people like me can you say discrimination 😳 wow how offensive please explain to me people like me ha how racist and ignorant can a person be why are you talking to me I thought I asked for the manager but once again he is too high to even have a simple conversation regarding my issue now no one in the e market store could tell me this guy who is playing manager or this random guy who tried covering for his manager the young lady in the drive Thru told me she didn’t kno her name or no one else in the stores name so this is one way I’m reaching out to complain about my experience and I’m not going to stop to I get in contact with upper management the person I had experience with couldn’t have been a manager he definitely was high as it his mind meaning he stepped out side for a smoke break and took another subsence beside tobocco it’s just sucking how horrible customer service is and how these employees represent them selfs I get it I’m not at a 5 star restaurant but there something...

Here we go again October 8th 2025 read below for previous one Stars still a one-star worker directly outside entrance smoking small cigar stinking up the whole entrance area went in manager in the back sitting down looking at phone other workers just standing around doing nothing I actually had to announce loudly that I was waiting for my order finally got it brought it out to the car spilled pop because they overfilled it and didn't put the lid on good this place is crap Taco bells go but forced to use it to save time so I don't have to drive somewhere else

I went to this Taco Bell is a delivery driver and they wouldn't let me use I don't know what the hell they're thinking like they're in the middle of covid or something and even only the worst restaurants wouldn't let a delivery driver use the restroom after all we are delivering to their customer and they want me to place an order I had to rush down the road to the other Taco Bell at University of is open I understand the East is rough but when a delivery driver wants to use the restroom even though just two weeks prior another person did let me use the restroom there is just ridiculous......... Overpriced for what seems like lower quality ingredients than standard. The $5 dinner box that is all over the TV commercials right now was promoted there for $6.39. I visit taco bells at an embarrassing frequency, and I can say that of the roughly five other taco bells I have visited in the area recently, this one is the only one not participating in the $5 price tag.

My cheesy gordita crunch had a different (worse) type of outer shell than the other taco bells in the area and was still twenty cents more (not a big deal but if you're going to charge a premium at least use the correct / better soft shell).

I ordered cheesy fiesta potatoes until it popped up on the screen for $2.29. Normally these are anywhere from $1.19 to maybe $1.59 but I've never seen a Taco Bell charge over $2 for this item, this taco bell just seems super greedy.

The employees were actually pleasant enough and the food seemed fresh and hot, which is the only reason I gave two stars instead of one.

Other than that, I will never go back to this Taco Bell (it was my first time at the east market location) because I can drive 5 minutes down the street and save about $1.20 on the roughly $5-6 worth of food I normally buy and the food seems better too. Of course this depends on what you...
