Edit:
I am downgrading this review from 5 star to 3 because of some glaring issues. The first being he was rushing himself and basically keeping a time to see how fast he could get the job done. While the computer was fully upgraded, he forgot to re-plugin the front USB and Sound Ports. So those right now are still dead. And in his rush, he also left a box of tools. I had messaged him right after he left, told him to come back, that he forgot his tools. No response. I called him and he said he would drop by the next day to fix the USB Port and get his tools.
Again, he was a no show. I messaged several days in a row, and have since given up. It is clear he doesn't want his small box of tools back nor is he going to plugin my USB ports. So I am going to have to find someone else to do the job. I wont be using Jeremy again.
Original Review: Jeremy is awesome. I am disabled and needed someone to install upgrade pc parts and best buy was giving me a lot of issues.
He offered to do it for $75 and gave the opion of his shop or at my apartment. I opted for my apartment. He was incredibly fast. Best buy was all "will take 10-15 days and you have to buy a new windows key"
Only thing he didn't get installed was the new ssd because it didn't come with a required cable. Overall, I believe I've found a computer tech for all my...
Read moreContacted in November about my business computer. Everything was promising in the conversation, the repairs.. until it wasn't. I've been trying to reach Jeremiah since Thanksgiving.. with him promising he was coming back out to finish my repairs. Just talked to him about 10 days ago.. again with him promising he was coming.. no call.. didn't show up.. and I still don't have a computer at my job! Because things were going so well in the beginning, and because it did actually work for a day, he's already been paid, WHAT HE ASKED FOR, but I still don't have my computer. I really didn't want to take this route but I believe he's blocked me. I work for an organization. I have to account for money I spend. $300 is no chump change. So I would say use him at your own risk. I'm sorry I found out the hard way, because he just sounded so...
Read moreI haven't needed computer repair in a long time so I had to look for a new place. I called J's computer and talked to the owner and he said bring it in and he'll get it back up and running. He did an excellent job and actually my computer is running better then it was. He realized my water cooling unit wasn't working and my other case fan was not working also,so he replaced and added some and now it's running smooth and staying cool. He also fixed an issue that my computer would reboot itself when starting up.I would recommend J's for any computer repair. He also does not overcharge you which is really nice. I'm glad I found a new place to take my computer to get worked on. He is a small business and takes very good care of your needs and it shows in his work and service. Thanks again for your excellent work...
