In 1977 I came to this theater to see the movie Star Wars. I came to see it 3 times, in fact. Fast forward 45 years and the Linda still has the same look and feel that it did way back then. And even though I no longer live in the neighborhood I still come here whenever I get the chance.
Some may say the screen isnât that big but in the 70âs when home television screens were no larger than 25â, that screen looked huge. I love that this theater remains intact, is so beautiful and looks and feels the same as it did back then. I love how Ted has always kept admission and concession prices affordable, so a tip of my hat and million thank youâs to you, sir. This theater and itâs owner is an absolute gem for Akron and I hope all go to experience how movie theaters were back then.
PS: Get the popcorn going because Iâm heading in to see Mission Impossible this afternoon. See...
Read moreLast night we went to see Betelgeuse Betelgeuse. It was my first time going to the Linda as I'm not originally from the area. The seats are comfy and there's a good amount of leg room between the aisles. No leg room is a concern for me, being on the taller side, I'm extremely uncomfortable before the movie is half way through. That is the reason why I don't go to movie theaters often. You also won't need to take out a small personal loan to get snacks from the snack bar. They are very reasonable for a theater! Another cool feature is if you want to grab a snack during the movie, you won't miss anything because you can see the movie screen from the snack bar. It was a cool experience for me to watch a movie here & I really enjoyed it. I will definitely...

I've changed my review to five stars because it's the best value around. I'll keep the old review below in case anyone sees this who had a similar experience before the remodeling - it's 1000% better now.
Original review: It's inexpensive, but the sound and video quality are poor. We went to see Frozen 2 and left disappointed. The picture was blurry and you couldn't hear most of the singing. We told them about the issues during the film but nothing was done to fix it.
I'd say it might be worth it to see movies that you aren't super interested in here, but I'd go elsewhere and pay a little more for the...
