Stevos Tavern — Restaurant in Akron

The music was way too loud we had to repeat our order 2-3 times for them to hear us. When I asked to turn it down he said no and that I am at a bar and “what did you expect” and that everyone here wants it loud… there were 4 people total in this bar. I tried to walk back to my table and the guy continued to yell at me about how I can go somewhere else. He could have just said no sorry and call it a night but he purposely got mad that I asked a question. I will never step foot into this bar again. I have been to NUMEROUS bars and the music is never this loud..FROM THE RADIO, a band wasn’t even playing. AND The guy did not have to be so rude about it. Rene is the best bartender in the business! She treats customers as friends and makes everyone feel welcome. The drink prices are fair and although I don’t typically eat when I’m there, the handful of times I’ve ordered food-it’s pretty good bar food. The music is always good and the atmosphere is great. Rene and Marilyn are a dynamic duo behind the bar. There’s many bars on my way home from work but I drive 15 min outta my way to see the crew at Steve-os. Went to play pool and have a drink with friends just to find out when I went to close my tab the female bartender convinced herself and the drunk owner I had a second when I only had one. So I was going to let go since it was only a few extra dollars but when said calmly it's not right that I have to pay for a second drink I never had the drunk owner jumped up and started yelling in my face that this isn't a pool hall and kept yelling at me to get out I'm banned.
