Update: Part 3 whoever just responded is lying. So as customers who are reviewing this, if you notice that this is the type of interaction that you would have with this organization, why go. If the unlisted "owner" would hide their name, lie on a customer, gaslight customers, be to scared to put their own name out but yet insult customers, then why should you be their customer. I did record the conversation, to whomever just lied on me, I can post it and show customers how I tried to set up everything and how you gaslit me. Now if you want to discuss this with me, email me, Cody did put my email in your system, right?
Update: Part 2. Someone claiming to be the owner called me to ask me my opinion and what happened. Here is the issue: if you don't like criticism, don't call people and get out of business. Otherwise, you would receive 0 stars for calling someone to try to tell them that their opinion isn't valid. Dont forget, whoever it was called me, not the other way around. And changing the price of products is illegal. Now do you want me to make a formal federal complaint or you could just let it be. I told the caller that even though Cody has had my ID in his hands, at the computer, Cody has not changed my name in the system, for over 4 years. And they allegedly have a new system. But the caller stated that I was bashing Cody... No, this is telling you that one of your employees has committed fraud and bad business practices. Unchanging the price of a product is illegal. The PS5 went from $299 (on the yellow sign) to $350 (at the register). Thats illegal buddy. If the caller is mad, then fill out a police report or something. I wasn't hostile or violent nor did I raise my voice, so that won't fly. I didn't disturb anyone so that won't fly... So be mad buddy. Now there are ways we can resolve this and ill delete the post. Email me. And I did record the conversation, because per Alabama state law, we are a one party consent state and you called me so, eh.... Cody should have put my email in... I hope. Part 1. Watch Cody, ever since he has become the manager his attitude has changed. He price switched and unchanged me for a PS5. In the process he told me that he was doing me a favor in low price he was charging me. The yellow posted sign stated that the price was $299 and there was no fine print. I explained to him that by federal law that there prices that was listed was the price that the item had to be sold at. He quoted some random store policy and I let it go because I understand how the difference between how good business people work and how people who practice shady business...
Read moreSo where can I start? As someone who's worked in the pawn business before, Yeraldin always manages to surpass my expectations, especially when it comes to selling my merchandise. Even when I expect my items to be worth a lot less, after a great conversation and research: Yeraldin goes beyond to make sure I'm satisfied and It's Thanks to her, that I have a little bit more shopping money in my pocket lol. She's always so kind, has patience, and does her best to connect with not just me but other customers as well! I don't normally write reviews but she deserves her flowers on this one. I always look forward to doing business with Family Pawn...
Read morePretty dope place honestly, they all treat you pretty fairly but Iâve had the most experience with Cody, he and the rest of the staff are nothing short of amazing. Me and my father recently purchased a AR pistol and I could not have gotten a better deal anywhere else. Itâs in amazing condition and the price (Iâm not gonna disclose what I paid lmao) is cheaper than I would have paid for a rifle with no mag and no optic. It came with a $400 optic, a mag, and was a burnt bronze. I couldnât be more happy with my experiences there. We also just sold my two playstations to them and they...
