Under No Circumstances Believe Them When They Say They Have Something In Stock! 'Saw an item they had advertised on Marketplace that I wanted to buy. Called and asked about that specific item to make sure they had it before I drove the 144.7 miles to their place for nothing. Was told "Oh yeah, we have them". I asked again to make sure it was the specific item on marketplace......"Yes, yes, we have them". After reading numerous reviews that said they had wasted a trip for something they claimed they had, I really had my doubts, but it's a nice drive up there, and I wanted to check the place out anyway. I looked around at the many things they had. Some looked perfectly new, some looked like old used junk. No deals to be found on tools, that's for sure. You can buy the same stuff on Amazon for substantially less. No deals to be had on anything really. They do have hundreds of doors that seem to be priced somewhat reasonable, that is if you don't mind spending a lot of time going through the mostly unmarked, unpriced, unsorted mess they have. Spent 20 minutes looking for my item and could not find any. Asked for help and a very nice young guy spent another 20 minutes making phone calls and looking everywhere to no avail. The guy who helped me was very apologetic, but nobody there seemed even remotely surprised I was told they have something they don't. Standard Operating Procedure I guess. Drove the 144.7 miles back home empty handed. This whole place is a total...
Read moreThe place is a mess, no one is helpful and the prices are no better than at a regular store. Things aren't marked, so when you go upstairs to the clothes area there's just heaps and heaps and boxes of clothes that you can dig through. I found some cotton pajamas and walked around for 15 minutes without finding anyone to help me, I was about to give up and just leave when someone finally walked up. He wanted to charge me prices that I know are the exact same as in the regular store. At Carter's you can get a pajama set for $20. At this liquidation store he was trying to sell me not even a set, a child's shirt and an adult pant for $20. He kept saying that it was a set. They have signs saying that their prices are half off of anything you see in the store. So he gets on his phone and I'm not sure if he's googling prices or what but he comes back telling me that I have a set and therefore it's $20. I pointed out that one piece of clothing is for a child and the other is for an adult and that it's definitely not a set and that an actual set at the regular store is the same price he's charging me. Anyhow, the place is a mess. The service is deplorable and the prices are not any cheaper than a regular store. I would definitely shop at any regular store than ever...
Read moreI recently visited this warehouse and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The store was completely unorganized, with no clear pricing on items, making it difficult to shop. Many items were broken, and the overall condition of the warehouse was chaotic.
Despite spending over $400, the customer service was lacking. When I asked about prices, the employee was rude and seemed frustrated with my questions. I purchased a bathing suit that was clearly marked on clearance for $6.50 per piece (top and bottom), but I was charged $21 instead of the expected $13. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize the overcharge until I got home.
Additionally, when selecting a 12-foot butcher counter where all the options were the same price I was told that I “wasn’t specific enough” about which one I wanted because she had to “keep count of inventory.” This was ironic, considering the warehouse was in complete disarray, with no proper system in place.
Clear pricing, organization, and respectful customer service are essential for a good shopping experience, but this warehouse failed on all fronts. I wouldn’t recommend shopping here unless significant...
