Hi. I purchased my iPhone 11 from the store in Alachua, FL and they sold me the ATT tempered glass screen protector with lifetime replacements (for a couple dollars). Within a few weeks of the purchase, my first screen protector already had a chip in the edge. I just today had it replaced with a new one, paying the replacement fee of $8. I came home and literally just set the iPhone on the edge of my nightstand. The screen protector is already shattered. I can't believe this is tempered glass or high quality. Either the protector itself must have been damaged or the installation was done incorrectly. I sent my husband back to get it replaced because I am so upset. The store claims that it is my fault whereas I feel like the protector was faulty or it was installed incorrectly. They are insisting I again pay the replacement fee. I feel like for $40 and then another $8 today that the screen protector should last me more than a few weeks (or a few hours!). I have had iPhones for over a decade and have NEVER shattered a screen despite multiple small drops. Prior to this tempered glass protector, I have always just used a thin film that I self installed. How can I be sure that this isn't a scam to sell me a poor quality "tempered glass" protector that constantly chips/breaks so I am at the store every few weeks paying $8 for a new one? BTW - I just bought edge to edge tempered glass screen protectors on Amazon for the price of 3 for $10. If this new ATT protector cracks again, I'm not going to go to the store to get it replaced and I wish I hadn't bought this screen protector in the first place when I bought my new phone. I fell for the sell and convenience without seeing what other options...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE. The workers at this location must write the positive reviews, no way this gets better reviews than a hospital ER. We walked in to upgrade a phone but ended up leaving because the person running the store was absolutely inappropriate. The worker would get agitated and aggressive when asked a question, who then tried to make us buy insurance and phone accessories that we never asked for (that we could "just take off later"). My wife questioned what the charges were for, to which the worker scoffed and responded "I already told you, regardless you need to pay $xxx today if you want this phone". I felt like we were getting scammed by a grimey call center guy. Fast talking and hates questions. After telling him we were leaving and going to just do the upgrade at another location because we didnt like the way we were being treated, he scoffed at us again, then followed us out to our car and told me to "tell your wife she needs to call att because I opened a ticket and her account is locked". My wife was right next to me. Absolutely insane, I was speechless. The worker we dealt with had tattoos on his knuckles, wore a suit coat, and Macklemore haircut. This isn't even a true ATT location, its a retailer painted like a true ATT store. We found out today after speaking to others that this location has a history of treating people poorly. Do yourself a favor and go to the true corporate ATT location in Butler Plaza, they were extremely...
Read moreA.T.T. in general is poor . Their is no service from Worthington Springs to Gainesville and this particular outlet stinks . I know from much experience . The people that are reviewed here don't even work there anymore . Just that alone should set off alarms . I purchased a phone from Chris , a former employee , and told him I wanted basic service . The phone did not have service in my area so I returned it . For three months I got a bill for $144.00 , not just basic service . He had me signed up for everything . Now a bill collection agency is hounding me even though I returned the phone the next day . No help from Jacob , the so called manager now , so I am preparing a lawsuit . Right behind A.T.T. , next to "Hitchcock's" is "Verizon" . They have unlimited everything for $80.00 a month , much less than A.T.T. , and "Cricket" next to "Publix" has unlimited everything for $61.00 a month . And the service and customer support is far better than the A.T.T. clowns . Trust me , you'll do much better by avoiding A.T.T....
