So I’ve been coming here for over a year and I’ve loved the products sold here. Unfortunately, I went back to the shop because there were rice weevils in a bag of rice I bought here. I asked for an exchange and the woman that owns the store told me that because I opened the bag of rice, I cannot have a refund or exchange. I let her know that I’ve never seen these things in my rice before and that they came directly out of a completely sealed bag and she refused to refund me or give me a different bag of rice. I don’t believe they came from her store but from the rice packaging facility. I just don’t think it’s right to refuse to make something like this right. I essentially paid for a fully contaminated bag of rice and she refused to do anything about it because I opened the bag of rice. I honestly won’t be returning after the exchange I had when I brought up the concern with the owner. It was not even an option to get a refund or a new bag of rice simple because the bag was opened. Good selection considering the size of the shop and shelves are usually fully stocked. I like that she has food and products from many regions of Asia, including South and Southeast Asia. There are also products from Hawaii. If something isn't in stock, the owner will probably have it in by next week. Everything is organized and clean.
