I went into my local Cricket Wireless store on 08/06/2025 at around 2:30pm to switch my cell phone service from T-Mobile to Cricket. Before I switched, I asked the associate if my Apple Series 10 cellular watches (which were locked on my old network) would still work if I switched my phone service. The associate told me it wouldn’t be a problem because it has its own phone number and service. I went ahead with the purchase based on his misinformation. On 08/06/2025 and 08/07/2025, I spent several hours on the phone and in the T-Mobile store with my old service provider trying to get my watches to make calls and work again as they stopped working after switching my phone provider while leaving them on the old network. After 5 different support techs, 2 different plan changes, and a separate call to Apple Care, I was finally told by Apple that the watches MUST be on the same service to work (even with separate numbers). I went back to T-mobile on 08/07/2025 at around 11:30am and transferred my service BACK to them so my watches would work again. I then called Cricket Wireless at around 9am and again at around 2pm and asked for a refund based on the information provided. The representatives I spoke with told me first they had a no refund policy. After asking for a manager they then told me they didn’t deal with refunds over the phone and I would need to go into the store. 08/08/2025 at around 1:15pm, I went into the store with my receipt in hand to get a refund. The store manager said he would give me a refund except that I cancelled my service. He claimed if I hadn’t cancelled my service and ported my numbers he could refund me. Read moreI needed a minimal use phone. I found a very small plan with them that I was led to believe was a good deal. I went in purchased the plan, promotion phone, activation fee and put it on auto pay. I had the phone less than one hour when it said half my data was gone. Never even used it. i called customer support and some young lady told me that it was a bad program and I should remove the data tracker. I told her no way. That I felt there was something very wrong with this and I was going to return the phone and wanted my money back. She told me that my money would be returned in 3 to 5 days. Well it's been 7 so I called to check the status of my refund only to be told I was misinformed and I would not be getting a refund. I asked to speak with a manager and he said the same thing. I told him that I was told by a company representative that I would be receiving a refund and the call was recorded and they should honor what they tell a customer. I pretty much was laughed at.
