During my time serving at Holloman, I never could get my arcade fix other than playing games at home through my consoles or PC. I was actually around when I first heard of Arcade Dungeon opening up right next to the Pizza Mill. The moment I heard of its opening, I rushed in to go check it out.
It was an enjoyable experience, and also held onto the nostalgic-era of sole coin-operated machines where each play is either just $.25 or at its highest, a $1.00 per play.
Pinball, racing, shooting, and classic arcade games line the walls of this location. There is something for everyone here who is a hardcore arcade fan or simply anyone who wants to spend less than $10 for a few good hours of retro gaming action.
This is a MUST visit location if you come through to Alamogordo! Highly...
Read moreWOW, I made the 102-mile drive from the west side of El Paso to Arcade Dungeon in Alamogordo. Ate at Pizza Mill next door. The food was great. Then I headed into Arcade Dungeon. What a step back in time. The place is nice with new and old games. Pinball Premium editions and classic arcade games. They rotate the games every few months to keep it interesting. It was well worth the drive, and I can't wait to go back. Thanks for making this old guy a kid again with a pocket full of quarters. The games are for well behaved children and adults to...
Read moreI was visiting Alamogordo, NM. Went to the Albertson's to pick up a few things, before driving all night back to Ft Worth, Tx. Saw a sign across the street from the parking lot. Arcade Dungeon. I had to check it out. I was stunned in this little town, there would be a place with all these classic games in top premium condition: Tron, Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Terminator, Battlezone, Frogger, QBert, Joust, Space Invaders, New and Vintage pinball everywhere. I was flooded with memories of the days mom would drop me off at the mall to go to the arcade with a pocket full of quarters. Spent 3 hours playing games and did not...
