Planet Earth Adventures, LLC — Local services in Alaska

I booked this tour through viator for "Matanuska Glacier Ice Fall Trek from Anchorage". I was completely deceived by this company. All they do is provide a transfer from your hotel in anchorage to an actual tour company who does the glacier walk.

In their actual services, providing transportation, they do just that. There is no tour or learning from a tour guide, the person is just a driver. So basically if you have a car available, you could have driven along the highway to the tour company yourself. There is no added benefit of this company.

I wish there had been more reviews so that I could have known better. It is a complete waste of money. If you are interested in this tour, please know that you can book it directly for a significantly lower price directly with MICA guides who provides the real tour.

Furthermore, if you are booking a tour with this company, you should look into whether or not they provide the tour themselves (something I did not even think to ask) or if they just take you to another tour.

While I appreciate that I did not book directly through you, and your website may or may not clarify that you work with other tours, I can confirm as of 7/14/19 and also at the time that I booked your tour, that such information regarding a partnership is not available on your listing. While it is true I booked through a third party (a company owned by Trip Advisor, and which trip advisor uses to book tours) in no place on your listing on trip advisor or viator does your listing state that you use another tour and are only providing transportation services. A company is responsible for the third party listings that they support - otherwise your company would not be listed as bookable through viator at all. What an amazing vacation we had!!! Where do I begin...hiking on a glacier, helicopter ride up a mountain to meet Iditarod team, ride on the sleigh, meet new puppies there, visited the town of Talkeetna where we took an incredible ATV ride, landed on Lake Clark for some bear watching, visited Seward where we took a half day boat ride out through the fjords. Visited & hiked in Denali National Park & Reserve ... stayed at Kantishna Roadhouse where the views, meals & accommodations were great. We also took a beautiful scenic train ride from Seward to Anchorage. This is one vacation we will never forget!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this trip. Albert & Marlene's attention to our needs and schedule are on point always checking the weather and reservations making sure we don't skip a beat.

If you have Alaska on your list of places to visit PLEASE DONT TAKE A CRUISE. You will miss what Alaska is all about. Give yourself the opportunity to really see Alaska. Planet Earth Adventures will make...

We just completed the Iditarod and Northern Lights 10-day tour and it was the experience of a lifetime! Albert and Marlene were such great hosts and showed us what warm Alaskan hospitality is all about. Albert knows just about anyone involved in the Alaska travel industry and knows where to go to provide the best experience for his guests. Access to the Iditarod and related events was outstanding! They also did an excellent job in finding a great viewing location for the aurora even in challenging weather conditions.

Transportation and accommodations were comfortable and the pace of the tour can be as relaxed or as active as you want it to be. Highly recommend booking a tour with Planet...
